Terms of Service
Effective date: September 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Local Help Line website and the phone numbers listed on it (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What we do
Local Help Line is a free referral service. We help consumers connect with independent, local service providers (“Providers”). We do not perform any of the services offered by Providers, and we are not a contractor, home-services company, plumber, pest-control operator, or provider of any other trade. We simply help route your call to an available independent Provider.
2. No endorsement, warranty, or guarantee
All contractors and Providers are independent third parties. Local Help Linedoes not employ, supervise, or control them. We do not warrant or guarantee any work performed by a Provider, and we make no representation about a Provider’s availability, licensing, insurance, qualifications, pricing, or the quality, safety, or legality of their work.
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that any hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting a Provider and for any agreement you enter into with them.
3. Independent relationship
Any contract for services, and any payment for services, is strictly between you and the Provider. Local Help Line is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct, or work of any Provider. Any dispute regarding services performed must be resolved directly with the Provider.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when you contact us or a Provider.
- Independently confirm a Provider’s license, insurance, references, and pricing before hiring.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

5. Calls and communications
